Tara Marie

Tara Marie is the co-host and producer of 3 Spooked Girls and Social Seance Society. Her podcast journey began in 2018 after encouraging her best friend and co-host of 20 years, Jessica, to launch 3 Spooked Girls. Tara’s love for true crime and the paranormal is rooted in ’90s nostalgia, cherished memories of eating ice cream while watching Unsolved Mysteries, America’s Most Wanted, CSI, and iconic horror films like Scream and IT.

Tara is happily married to her amazing wife, Shannon, an active-duty military service member. Together, they have one daughter, affectionately referred to as Bug in episodes of 3 Spooked Girls, and a delightful “zoo” of beloved pets. When she’s not podcasting or indulging in all things spooky, Tara is an avid reader and a fierce advocate for giving a voice to the voiceless—from true crime victims to misunderstood entities.
